Our goal is simple: guides that are honest, practical and easy to read. This page explains how we work.
How we research
We start from the reader's question and look for reliable sources first. For wellness topics we link to public health bodies such as the NHS, and for other topics we prefer primary sources, industry reports and first-hand testing over opinion.
Wellness and medical topics
Our wellness articles are general information. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they do not replace a qualified professional. If you have a health concern, please speak to your doctor.
Accuracy and updates
Each article shows its last updated date. When facts, trends or prices change, we revise the article. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will correct it and update the date.
Independence and advertising
Recommendations are based on usefulness, not payment. If an article ever includes sponsored content or affiliate links, it will be clearly labelled.
Images
We use licensed or free-to-use photography and credit photographers where required. Images are chosen to illustrate the topic and never to mislead.
